Dabei stellt das Team nicht nur die Heilung und Linderung von Beschwerden sowie Erkrankungen in den Fokus, sondern auch aktiv die Präventionsmedizin und Gesundheitsvorsorge.Birgit Schless studierte Medizin an der Universität Regensburg und der Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg. Zudem besuchte sie im Rahmen des Studiums die Duke University in North-Carolina, USA. Im Anschluss arbeitete Dr. Schless in der Inneren Medizin II der Universität Ulm (Kardiologie/Nephrologie) und wurde 2002 als Fachärztin für „Innere Medizin"Ausgezeichnet. Im Jahr 2007 folgte der Titel als Fachärztin für Kardiologie und Weiterbildung für den Schwerpunkt Nephrologie. In ihrer Karriere sammelte sie Erfahrung in diversen Kliniken und Praxen in den Fachbereichen Kardiologie und Nephrologie. Einer ihrer medizinischen Schwerpunkte ist die Hypertensiologie (Bluthochdruckerkrankungen).
