About Dr Bianca de Albuquerque Bandarra
Dr Bianca Bandarra is a highly skilled General Practitioner at Dr Sophia Khalique Medical Practice with several years of experience in Brazil. She completed her medical degree at Faculdade de Medicina de Petrópolis (Petropolis Medical School) in Rio de Janeiro. She later completed two years of surgical training, providing her with experience in acute medicine and trauma. After completing her training, Dr Bandarra began practicing in bustling accident and emergency departments in Rio's favelas. Dr Bandarra later relocated to Dublin, and subsequently Belfast, began practicing as a general practitioner. She also had appointments in Paediatrics and Gynaecology/Women’s Health. She also holds a Diploma in Clinical Leadership from the Royal College of Surgeons of Ireland and is currently completing her Diploma in Clinical Dermatology. Beyond her clinical roles, Dr Bandarra serves as a ringside doctor for the Norwegian boxing association. Bianca finds joy in cooking authentic Italian recipes from her great grandmother’s unpublished cookbook, delighting family and friends. To balance her culinary indulgences, she maintains an active and healthy lifestyle through regular exercise.
