About Dr Benjamin Shaw
Dr Benjamin Shaw is a leading Medical Specialist in Dizziness & Vertigo, Balance Disorders, Tinnitus and Hearing Loss. He is an experienced, highly skilled and highly trained Audiovestibular Consultant Physician & Neuro-otologist. Known for his expert knowledge, compassionate nature and excellent communication, Dr Shaw prides himself in working in partnership with his patients, ensuring he always provides effective, holistic and patient-centred care. Dr Shaw completed his undergraduate medical degree at University College London. He excelled in his specialist training in Audiovestibular Medicine within the Pan-London training programme. He had the benefit and privilege of training at leading, internationally recognised institutes, including the Royal National Throat Nose & Ear Hospital and Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. He was awarded a Distinction in the Post Graduate Certificate in 'Otology & Audiology', from the world renowned UCL Ear Institute. He has won national prizes, and was extremely honoured to be recognised by his peers when he was awarded the highly prestigious 2020 Pat Jobson Prize for 'Services to Audiovestibular Medicine', by the British Association of Audiovestibular Physicians. Dr Shaw holds a Substantive NHS Consultant post, covering all areas within Audiovestibular Medicine in both adults and children. In addition to his NHS work, he offers timely & comprehensive private consultations, and can also arrange high quality Audiovestibular Testing with trusted quality providers. He practices at the Harley Street Audiovestibular Clinic, Centennial Medical Care Elstree & Wimbledon NeuroCare at Parkside Hospital. Remote consultations are also available.
