About
Over the years, Dr. Parker has held various Child and Adolescent Psychiatry consultant positions in different locations, including London, Essex, and Devon. He has also served as the clinical lead in several teams responsible for the care of NHS patients. While he initially worked in adolescent in-patient units, he currently focuses on community settings, where he often deals with complex and high-risk young individuals.
Dr. Parker's areas of expertise include attachment difficulties and childhood trauma, and he has extensive experience with various psychotherapeutic approaches. He is also trained in assessing neurodevelopmental conditions such as Autism and ADHD.
Currently, Dr. Parker serves as the Training Programme Director for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in the Peninsula Deanery. He is a member of the Royal College of Psychiatrists and is listed on the Specialist Register with the General Medical Council (GMC) for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
