About
Dr. Gooden furthered his expertise with post-fellowship training in primary and revision hip and knee arthroplasty at the Klinikum Emil von Behring Hospital in Berlin, Germany. Upon returning to Sydney, he pursued additional fellowship training at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, focusing on orthopaedic trauma and advanced hip and knee arthroplasty techniques.
In addition to his medical qualifications, Dr. Gooden holds a Science degree with first-class honours from the University of Adelaide and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the University of Sydney, where his research focused on tendon and cartilage degeneration mechanisms.
Dr. Gooden is affiliated with several hospitals, including The Mater Private Hospital, Sydney Adventist Hospital, Hornsby Ku-Ring-gai Hospital, and Tamworth Rural Referral Hospital, where he provides expert orthopaedic care. His dedication to advancing orthopaedic surgery is evident through his ongoing research, teaching activities, and commitment to patient-centred care.
