Additionally, he has two years of post-CCT Paediatric Neurosurgery fellowship experience from Bristol Royal Hospital for Children and Birmingham Children’s Hospital.
Dr Homapour holds an MSc in Surgical Sciences and has a strong academic track record, including multiple publications and presentations at national and international conferences. His current practice combines Paediatric Neurosurgery and adult Neurosurgery. He performs a wide range of paediatric procedures, including tumour surgery, CSF surgery (including complex endoscopy), cerebrovascular surgery, spinal and cranial dysraphism, and trauma surgery. He also performs epilepsy and spasticity procedures, including temporal lobectomy, lesionectomy, vagal nerve stimulator implantation, and intrathecal delivery pump insertion. For adults, his practice includes surgery for trauma, intracerebral haemorrhage, decompression for malignant MCA territory infarction, CSF disorders, brain tumours, and procedures for spasticity and epilepsy. Dr Homapour also has expertise in using neuronavigation, neuroendoscopy, and intraoperative monitoring for brain mapping and spinal surgery.
