Dr. Binbrek received his MBChB from the University of Glasgow in 1971 and went on to achieve esteemed qualifications, including DCH (Glasgow, 1973), MRCP (UK, 1975), FRCP (Edinburgh, 1986), and FRCP (London, 1988). His medical journey began in the UK, where he held roles as a house officer in medicine, surgery, and paediatrics, followed by a registrar position in Ayrshire and rotations in Glasgow's Departments of Medicine.
In 1976, Dr. Binbrek returned to Dubai as a specialist in Medicine before pursuing a research fellowship in Cardiology in London from 1978 to 1980. He later settled in Dubai, becoming a Consultant Cardiologist in 1984.
Dr. Binbrek is actively involved in clinical research and has served as the principal investigator for several landmark studies, including the ASSENT I, II, and III trials. He has published numerous articles on clinical studies, meta-analyses, and registry studies in the UAE and the Middle East, presenting his findings at prestigious international congresses.
