His advanced colorectal fellowship was undertaken at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, with a focus on advanced pelvic malignancy. He subsequently completed further fellowships in the United Kingdom at St Mark’s Hospital and Basingstoke Hospital.
Dr Zahid has a strong interest in research and education. He has published more than 40 papers in peer-reviewed journals and holds a Master of Surgery and a Master of Philosophy. He has recently completed a PhD in Surgical Education and Training, alongside his work as a Senior Clinical Lecturer at The Australian National University.
