He is able to offer his patients a number of endoscopic procedures including diagnostic and therapeutic OGD (variceal banding and hemostasis, PEG/PEJ/NJ/NG, dilatation, oesophageal/duodenal/colonic stents, achalasia dilatation, Botox injection, foreign body removal using overtube).
Dr Banerjee also has expertise in push enteroscopy including polypectomy/EMR, dilatation and stents, haemorrhoidal banding, and pancreatobiliary endoscopy (both ERCP and EUS) including EUS-guided coeliac plexus neurolysis and Hot AXIOS Cystagastrostomy. Throughout his career, Dr Banerjee has had a significant positive influence on endoscopy practices within the hospitals he has worked in and has been able to implement changes as a result of his in-depth audit work.
Dr Banerjee first trained in India before gaining several post-graduate qualifications in the United Kingdom including a fellowship in advanced pancreatobiliary medicine and interventional endoscopy.
