I am an experienced MSK physiotherapist and Pilates instructor with a working history dedicated to the Healthcare Private Practice sector.
Since graduating from UFS in Brazil in 2016, I have spent most of my time working overseas. I moved to Ireland about two years ago and started to work in a private clinic outside of Cork for 18 months as a Pilates instructor and physiotherapist.
My personal experience and passion always led me to work with a combination between teaching pilates and rehab patients with sports injuries, MSK injuries and women's health. I believe that the combined skills of Physiotherapy and Pilates offers the best approach with a strong patient outcome.
I understand that self discipline towards looking after your body is the best way to prevent injuries. As Pilates had said in the past “Change happens through movement and movement heals” that's why I practice it even when I'm not working.
