About
Dr Ana-Maria Avadanei is a dedicated dentist with a strong focus on endodontics and root canal treatment. Since qualifying in 2018 from the University of Medicine and Pharmacy “Grigore T. Popa” in Iași, Romania, she has pursued advanced training and international clinical experience to refine her expertise in both surgical and non-surgical endodontic procedures.
She began her professional career in Athens, Greece, where she worked alongside a leading endodontist in a practice exclusively dedicated to endodontics.
Dr Avadanei went on to complete a three-year European Master’s Degree in Endodontics at the Universitat Internacional de Catalunya (UIC) in Barcelona, Spain. During this time, she also gained valuable experience working in private clinics, further developing her clinical skills in advanced endodontic techniques.
In 2024, she expanded her expertise through intensive training in Mexico, where she carried out complex surgical and non-surgical root canal treatments in both private and university settings. She also became a fellow member of Style Italiano Endodontics, an internationally recognised community of skilled dental practitioners.
Now practising in London and Portsmouth, Dr Avadanei combines her international training with a patient-centred approach, focusing on precision, comfort and long-term outcomes. She is currently completing the requirements to achieve specialist endodontist status in the UK.
