About Mr Ahmed Marzouk
Mr Ahmed Marzouk is an accomplished Consultant in General and Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery Western Health and Social Care Trust - NI. In addition to his clinical work, he holds the prestigious position of Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine at Cairo University. Mr Marzouk brings a wealth of experience to his role, with a strong background in general and laparoscopic surgery. He has completed training in various aspects of medicine and surgery, including gallbladder, Hernia and weight loss surgery, emergency surgery, trauma surgery, and minimally invasive surgery. Previously, he has gained experience at NMC Healthcare in Abu Dhabi, and St George’s University Hospitals NHS Trust, London. Mr Marzouk has achieved the FRCS (Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons) in General Surgery from the Royal College of Surgeons in England. He completed his medical degree at Cairo University in 2001, and obtained an MD from the same institution in 2011. as well as Master degree in Minimmaly invasive and Robotic surgery (Italy). Mr Marzouk is a current Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, Royal college of Surgeons-England and Edinburgh, in addition he is member of many national and international general and Upper GI surgery Societies (AUGIS, BOMSS, BHS, EAES, ASGBI, ALSGBI, IFSO). Throughout his career, Dr. Marzouk has developed his surgical expertise in various areas, including: • General Surgery • Laparoscopic Surgery • Gallbladder and Hernia Laparoscopic surgery • Colorectal Surgery • Abdominal Surgery • Gastrointestinal Surgery • Surgical Oncology • Minimally Invasive Surgery • Hernia Surgery • Cancer Surgery • Gastrointestinal Endoscopy Moreover, Mr Marzouk has a rich list of publications in his field. His diverse skill set and experience make him a trusted practitioner, providing high-quality care and surgical interventions to his patients.
