Dr Aboobaker Sayed is an experienced podiatrist with an international clinical background spanning over 20 years of hospital, academic, and private practice settings across South Africa, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates. He currently practices at SEHA Ambulatory Health Services, where he provides specialist care for a wide range of foot and lower-limb conditions.
Dr Sayed graduated with a Bachelor of Technology in Podiatry from the University of Johannesburg in 2001. He has experience serving as Fit Feet Clinical Director for Special Olympics UAE and prior to his current role worked at Dubai Physiotherapy & Family Medicine Clinic.
His clinical interests include sports podiatry, diabetic and high-risk foot care, biomechanics, gait analysis, advanced orthotic management, and the treatment of chronic and complex foot conditions. He is particularly focused on improving mobility, function, and long-term patient outcomes through evidence-based and multidisciplinary care.
