This advanced training includes a fellowship in vitreoretinal diseases from the University of Toronto in Canada, and a fellowship from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow, which awarded him the title of FRCS (Glasgow).

He holds the position of Assistant Professor at the College of Medicine, King Saud University, where he contributes to the training of future doctors and ophthalmologists.
