The Waverley Private Hospital is an acute/surgical facility with 98 beds, situated in the Eastern Suburbs of Melbourne. Since 1972, the hospital has been playing an active role in meeting the healthcare needs of local communities in Eastern and South-eastern Melbourne. Waverley Private Hospital is accredited by the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS), which monitors and sets standards for hospitals across Australia to ensure that patients receive high-quality care. The health, safety and comfort of patients is always their top priority, and the team regularly evaluates their performance to ensure these goals are being met.
The surgical/medical ward features only private rooms, each with their own ensuite. In maternity, all patients are provided with a private room with the option for partners to stay. All private rooms have flat-screen TV's and Wi-Fi access. At Waverley Private Hospital there are seven operating theatres, including a Day Procedure Unit. All departments are staffed by experienced skilled health care professionals who are familiar with the latest developments and research in their respective fields.
