About this clinic
Lancashire Eye Clinic is the only independent surgical eye clinic with its own facilities for Lancashire and the surrounding areas. The clinic first opened in 2001 on Church Road in Lytham and moved to its current location opposite Lowther Gardens in 2011. It operates across four floors of a Victorian building that has been refurbished throughout, with a lift serving all levels. A purpose-built theatre complex, compliant with theatre regulations, is used for surgical procedures and operations under local anaesthetic for day-case patients.
The clinic provides treatment for a wide range of eye conditions including cataracts, glaucoma, age-related macular degeneration, astigmatism, posterior capsule opacification, retinal conditions and eyelid problems. Services available include cataract surgery, YAG laser, glaucoma treatments, selective laser trabeculoplasty, trabeculectomy, minimally invasive glaucoma surgery, intravitreal injections, laser therapies for retinal disease, optical coherence tomography and dry eye management.
Lancashire Eye Clinic is registered with the Care Quality Commission and is recognised by all major medical insurance companies. The site provides disabled parking bays as well as free on-street parking around Lowther Gardens.
