Zu den häufigsten Gründen für akute Schmerzen im unteren Rückenbereich zählen ein Bandscheibenvorfall oder die Degeneration der Bandscheibe selbst. In der Wirbelsäulenklinik können Patienten mit einer minimalinvasiven endoskopischen Chirurgie (perkutane Diskektomie) behandelt werden. Es werden aber auch alle anderen konventionellen Operationsmethoden (Goldstandardverfahren) in der Klinik für Wirbelsäulenchirurgie praktiziert.
