Dr. Sonia Kalsi is a highly experienced counselling psychologist and integrative psychotherapist who has worked in mental health for over 25 years. During this time, she has supported individuals with a wide range of psychological difficulties, including depression, anxiety, stress, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties, including the following:

She is based at Priory Wellbeing Centre Harley Street, where she integrates approaches from different therapy models including Psychodynamic therapy, Person-centred therapy & Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Dr. Sonia Kalsi completed her professional doctoral training in counselling psychology and psychotherapy at the Metanoia Institute in London. This included placements in the higher education sector, the voluntary sector, and private practice. In addition to her training, Dr. Kalsi has also completed a certificate in coaching and mentoring (level 5) at the Institute of Leadership and Management. She is also a chartered member of the British Psychological Society (BPS).

As well as working in private practice, Dr. Kalsi also spent 14 years working in higher education, where she developed a specialist knowledge of student mental health issues. She is an experienced trainer in this area and continues to deliver training on mental health awareness to staff working in higher education institutions.

Her research interests include suicidality in higher education and working with suicide risk and trauma survivors.
