The opportunity

Patients no longer ring three clinics to compare options — they open Google, scan the first five results, and book the one that makes booking effortless.

Ten years ago a patient with a sore knee would ring their GP, get a referral letter, telephone two physiotherapy practices to compare wait times, and finally settle on the one whose receptionist answered. Today that same patient opens their phone at 21:14 on a Sunday evening, types "sports injury clinic near me" into Google, scrolls the first five results, and books an 11 AM slot at whichever clinic has a visible calendar, transparent prices and a credible-looking website. The conversion happens in under four minutes. There is no phone call. There is no waiting for office hours. The clinic that converts that patient is the one whose digital storefront is already open for business — every other clinic in the city is invisible to that booking.

This shift is most aggressive in the segments where patients pay out-of-pocket: physiotherapy, chiropractic, dental, aesthetic medicine, IVF, sports medicine, dermatology and the entire wellness category. But it is increasingly true even in insurance-funded care — patients with a referral now search for the clinic they want before they authorise it with their insurer. The "first clinic the search engine returns" is winning roughly 60% of new patient enquiries in every European market we measure, and the gap between first-page and second-page clinics has widened every quarter since 2022.

EuroClinics was built specifically for that shift. We have already assembled the most comprehensive verified directory of European healthcare providers anywhere — over 118,000 clinics, 14,469 hospitals, 217,000 doctors and 30,902 pharmacies across thirty countries — and we pre-index every entry with rich, schema-marked-up content that search engines reward with high rankings. When a patient types "physiotherapy clinic in Stockholm", "IVF clinic Athens English-speaking", or "24-hour dental emergency Birmingham", you want your clinic in the first three results — not the third page where curious browsers never land.

The infrastructure is already live, the SEO traffic is already arriving, the patients are already searching every hour. What is missing is you: a verified clinic profile with up-to-date locations, services, prices, photos, opening hours and a real online calendar that accepts bookings. Build it once with our editor, keep it current with five minutes of attention per week, and let the platform do the discovery work for the rest of the time your clinic is open.

Clinics that have been on EuroClinics for six months consistently report measurable growth in new patient enquiries. Early-access multidisciplinary practices have seen booking volume rise by 250-400% within their first quarter, simply because their schedule is now visible to patients who would otherwise have called two other practices before finding them — or, more commonly, would have booked the competitor with a polished profile and given up on yours. The economics are stark in your favour: a single new patient typically covers the entire annual subscription, and we cap your costs at a fixed monthly fee — never a percentage of treatment revenue.

This page is intentionally a long read because clinic owners deserve a full and transparent answer to "why should I put my clinic on yet another platform?" before parting with any time or money. Skim the headings, jump to the sections that matter most to your specific operation, and when you are ready — your clinic account takes about two minutes to create and 30-45 minutes to fully populate.

The new economics of private clinic operations in Europe

Why the clinic that lists today owns the local SEO position for years.

The European private healthcare market is going through the same digital transition that hit independent hotels around 2010 and independent retailers around 2003. Patients who used to ring around now type a query and click. Patients who used to ask a friend for a recommendation now read 40 verified reviews. Patients who used to wait for office hours to schedule now expect to book at midnight from their phone. The clinics that adapt early to the new behaviour win disproportionate market share for years to come, because patient relationships, once established, are remarkably sticky.

The structural shift is not cyclical, and it is not slowing. Once a patient has learnt to book a restaurant table, a hairdresser appointment, a Pilates class and a dentist visit with the same three-tap motion on their phone, the clinics that still require a phone call lose to the clinics that don't. The relevant question for a private clinic in 2026 is no longer "should we offer online booking?" — it is "how visible are we online, and how frictionless is it to book us?"

The window of opportunity is unusually open right now because most European clinics are still operating on outdated digital infrastructure. Doctolib has signed up plenty of clinics in France and Germany but virtually nothing in Italy, Spain, Portugal, the UK, the Nordics or Central Europe. Country-specific platforms like Jameda (DE), MioDottore (IT) and Doctify (UK) capture meaningful share in their home markets but leave the cross-border patient untouched. There is no single European-wide platform that clinics trust — which means the first clinic in your city + speciality to publish a polished EuroClinics profile captures the long-tail SEO position for the next several years. The second clinic gets the slot below. The third has to spend serious money on Google Ads to compete with the organic leader.

This is not theoretical. We have measured it. Multidisciplinary clinics that claimed their profile during our private beta in 2025 hold first-page Google rankings for "[treatment] clinic [city]" queries in markets where they were previously page four. Their booking calendars now fill two weeks ahead. Their patient mix has shifted from purely local catchment to a meaningful share of inbound travel patients paying private cash. They have not changed how they deliver care; they have changed where they are findable.

The economics of being early are equally simple. An average European private treatment basket is around €180 per visit (physio session, chiro adjustment, aesthetic touch-up, dental check-and-polish). A first-time patient who books online has a 45% chance of returning within six months — a higher retention rate than walk-ins because they self-selected your clinic out of dozens. Across a three-year horizon, every new patient acquired online is worth roughly €900 in direct fees and another €300-500 in cascading referrals from their own circle. Capturing even two additional patients per week — easily achievable for a properly built clinic profile — adds €90,000+ per year in additional revenue. Against a €19/month subscription (€190/year prepaid), this is among the highest-ROI investments a private clinic owner can make this decade — a single new patient covers nine years of EuroClinics fees.

The clinic that lists in eighteen months will see the same opportunity through a closed door. The city + treatment SEO position will already belong to a competitor. The patients who would have chosen them will already be on someone else's recall list. The technology will be the same; the market position will not. There is a real first-mover advantage in clinic listings that does not exist in most other software markets — and it is decaying every week.

Why clinics choose EuroClinics

Everything a modern private clinic actually needs — in one place.

Stop juggling a Wix website in one tab, a paper diary on reception, a card terminal that doesn't sync, a Google Business listing nobody updates, and a private practice management system that costs €280/month. EuroClinics is the European-built, clinic-first platform that consolidates all of it natively — and integrates cleanly with the tools your team already trusts.

🌍

City + treatment SEO that ranks

Pre-indexed in Google, Bing and DuckDuckGo. Schema.org MedicalClinic markup, hreflang for 8 European languages, sitemap auto-submitted. Patients searching "[your service] in [your city]" find you from day one — not month six.

🗓️

Real-time online booking

Publish hours per practitioner, accept booking requests, manage no-shows, send automated reminders — all from one calendar your patients can actually book against. Multi-doctor diary, multi-room scheduling, group classes and waiting lists supported out of the box.

💳

Stripe payouts native

Take card payments at booking, at the front desk on arrival, or after the consultation. Direct settlement to your clinic's IBAN — typically within one business day. Multi-currency, automatic VAT invoices, no chargebacks on verified bookings.

📺

Photos, video, virtual tour

Upload a clinic intro video, a photo gallery of reception, treatment rooms and equipment, even a Matterport 3D tour. Patients pick the clinic that feels real to them — show them your space, your team and the experience they will have.

👥

Multi-practitioner ready

Invite reception, secretaries, junior clinicians, partner doctors with granular roles. One tenant, many practitioners — purpose-built for group clinics, dental practices, physio teams and multidisciplinary outpatient operations.

Verified review system

Only patients with a completed booking can leave a review. Reply publicly, dispute the rare unfair one, surface the great ones in your marketing. Reviews attach to the clinic and the practitioner who delivered the visit.

📊

Clinic analytics that matter

Pipeline of pending requests, accept rate, no-show rate, response time, projected revenue, top-converting services, busiest practitioners, busiest hours. Know exactly which marketing channel is working — daily, not next quarter.

🎨

Your brand, not ours

Custom subdomain, logo, accent colour, refund policy. The patient sees your clinic brand throughout the booking funnel — not a generic platform skin. White-labelled enough to satisfy the most brand-sensitive operators.

🔒

GDPR + EU data residency

Servers in Frankfurt. No US data transfer, no Schrems-II exposure. ISO 27001-aligned operations. We sign a Data Processing Agreement on request. Patient records never leave European jurisdiction.

Patient psychology

Why a polished clinic profile converts — and a half-finished one quietly costs you 30% of your inbound enquiries.

Every patient who lands on a clinic's profile is performing the same mental calculation, even if they could not articulate it: "Can I trust this place to take care of me?" They are looking for credibility signals — a real address, a recognisable building, a photo of the actual reception, evidence that other patients have walked through the door successfully and come out happier. Within roughly fifteen seconds they decide whether to read further, close the tab, or click "Book". Fifteen seconds. That is the entire window in which your clinic's reputation gets evaluated by a stranger holding a phone in a coffee shop.

The single most predictive factor in whether a visitor becomes a booking is completeness. A clinic profile with a logo, photos, full service menu with transparent prices, complete opening hours, accepted insurers, accreditations and twenty verified reviews converts at roughly 5-7 times the rate of an identical profile with only a name, an address and a phone number. Patients are not consciously counting fields — they are reading signal density. A profile with detail feels like a clinic that pays attention to detail. A profile with three lines feels like a placeholder, and patients reasonably worry that the visit will feel similarly hollow.

The second predictor is recency. A clinic profile last updated four months ago, with this week's calendar showing "no availability", reads as a practice that is either over-subscribed (so they will not bother trying) or quietly closed (so they should not waste a click). A profile with this week's open slots, a review responded to yesterday, a service price refreshed last month — that is a clinic that is alive, present, and worth booking. EuroClinics surfaces every freshness signal for you automatically; you just have to keep the lights on inside the dashboard.

The third predictor — and the one most clinic operators underweight — is specificity. A generic "physiotherapy clinic" gets browsed past in favour of a clinic that mentions "running gait analysis and ACL rehabilitation" by name, because the runner with knee pain instantly recognises themselves in that description. EuroClinics supports this naturally through structured fields for services treated, equipment available, sub-specialties and practitioner expertise, so the patient hunting for "shockwave therapy for plantar fasciitis" finds the clinic that actually offers that treatment, not the one that happens to have a banner ad.

The fourth, and perhaps most counter-intuitive, predictor is price transparency. Patients who see €65 listed against "initial physiotherapy assessment" book at a substantially higher rate than patients who see "fees on request". The price is rarely the deal-breaker; the uncertainty is. A patient who fears being quoted €150 at the door is a patient who keeps browsing. A patient who sees €65 up-front and trusts that the number is the number books immediately. Transparent service pricing is conversion infrastructure for a clinic, not a vulnerability — and it is the single change most clinics could make tomorrow that would lift their inbound conversion rate by 30% the same week.

None of this requires you to be a designer, copywriter or growth marketer. EuroClinics ships sensible defaults for every clinic profile section, lets your reception team fill them in over a coffee, and renders the result with the typographic polish you would otherwise hire an agency to produce. The conversion uplift accrues to your clinic the moment you publish.

Your clinic profile, your storefront

A clinic page that does the work of a website, a booking widget, a payments terminal and a reputation manager.

Think of your EuroClinics clinic profile as the professional answer to a website, a Google Business listing, an Instagram bio and a Trustpilot page — all rolled into one verified, conversion-optimised storefront. You publish updates, patients see them, search engines index them, and when a prospective patient lands on your page they get the same impression they would get walking through your reception door: credentialled, organised, trustworthy.

Unlike a Wix website that nobody updates after launch, every section of your EuroClinics profile is built for ongoing edits. A new clinician joins — add them in two minutes. A service price changes — update in one field. Opening hours shift for a bank holiday — toggle the day off. Each change pushes to the live site within seconds, with the right search-engine signals (LastMod, sitemap ping, structured data refresh) automatically attached.

How clinic booking works

From "I need a clinic" to a confirmed appointment in under two minutes.

No phone calls. No voicemail tag with reception. No paper diary. Patients pick their treatment, pick a clinician, pick a slot, pay (or don't — your choice), and the appointment lands in your central diary with all their details, ready for the visit.

Patient finds your clinic

Via Google, our directory, a city + treatment landing page, a partner referral link or your own marketing.

They pick service & time

From your live menu and calendar — only services you offer, only times you have published. Per-practitioner availability is supported automatically.

They pay (optional)

Stripe Checkout collects the service fee, a deposit, or zero up-front — you decide per service. Same flow whether it is €40 or €4,000.

Reception confirms or declines

Email + dashboard notification. Bulk-accept for routine bookings. Patient gets SMS reminder 24h before. No-show fee enforced automatically if you set one.

Every booking arrives with the patient's name, contact details, the service they requested, the practitioner they selected, their preferred time and any message they left. You can suggest an alternative time, ask a clarifying question, or accept in one click. No-shows trigger an automatic policy you control — cancellation fee, blocked from re-booking, or just a polite reminder.

Get paid, fast

Patient pays today. Your clinic sees the money tomorrow.

EuroClinics is built on Stripe — the same payments rail used by Amazon, Booking.com and several national NHS bodies for online card collection. When a patient pays for a treatment slot, the funds settle directly to your clinic's nominated IBAN in one to two business days, with a clean monthly invoice you can hand straight to your accountant. There is no manual reconciliation, no chasing failed cards, no chargebacks on verified bookings, and absolutely no commission deducted from your treatment fee.

You set the pricing. Initial physiotherapy assessment €65, follow-up €45, sports massage €70, IVF consultation €250, full-mouth dental scan €120, aesthetic touch-up €380 — whatever your clinic charges, we pass it on at 100%. Stripe takes its standard processing fee (around 1.4% + 20p for EU cards, similar elsewhere) — and that is the only deduction. The fixed EuroClinics monthly subscription covers everything else.

  • Accept payment at booking, on arrival at reception, or after the treatment
  • Multi-currency out of the box: GBP, EUR, USD, CHF, TRY
  • Automatic VAT invoices for EU patients in the right format
  • Apple Pay, Google Pay, SEPA, Klarna ready
  • Refunds in one click — funds back to patient in 5-10 business days
  • Connected-account model: Stripe holds funds in your clinic's name, not ours
  • Deposits, package payments and treatment-plan instalments all supported

Discoverability

Be the clinic patients across Europe actually find when they search.

Most clinic websites are built to look respectable in a portfolio rather than to convert visitors into bookings. They are typically built once by a local agency, never updated, never SEO-optimised for the specific treatments that matter, and almost never integrated with a payments or booking system. EuroClinics flips that. Every clinic profile is structured the way Google understands medical facilities — JSON-LD MedicalClinic schema, hreflang for eight languages, OpenGraph cards for social shares, fast Core Web Vitals, mobile-first responsive layout, and a clean URL like euroclinics.net/en/clinic/your-slug that will rank for years.

We also build the long-tail SEO most clinic owners would never have time to build themselves — dedicated city + service landing pages ("Physiotherapy clinics in Manchester", "Cabinets dentaires francophones à Bruxelles", "Hautarztpraxis in München mit Termin"), country directories, treatment-area hubs, neighbourhood guides — thousands of internal links pointing at exactly the right clinics. Your profile inherits the authority of the entire directory.

  • Schema.org MedicalClinic markup on every profile — rich results in Google

A complete clinic profile

Every accreditation, every service, every team member — finally somewhere that does them justice.

You have spent years building a reputation, accumulating certifications, training a team and refining the way you deliver care. Why is the only public version of all of that still a single-page Wix site from 2019? EuroClinics gives you a dedicated profile structured around how patients actually shop for healthcare — every section a chance to turn a sceptical visitor into a confident booking.

Clinic type by clinic type

What changes when each kind of clinic arrives on EuroClinics.

Every clinic type has its own booking pattern, patient psychology and competitive landscape. Here is what early-access clinics across nine categories have measured in their first six months on the platform.

🏃

Physiotherapy & sports injury

Runners, cyclists and gym-goers self-diagnose then search for clinics that mention their exact problem (Achilles tendinopathy, IT band syndrome, lower-back impingement). Profiles with named conditions and shockwave/laser equipment convert 3× the rate of generic "physio" listings.

🦴

Chiropractic & osteopathy

Patients comparison-shop based on practitioner credentials and pricing transparency. The team-with-bios layout plus visible per-session pricing wins almost every booking against a competing clinic that requires a phone call to learn the fee.

🦷

Dental practices

Cosmetic patients increasingly travel internationally for treatment. The treatment-package builder plus multi-currency pricing, plus the international-patient module (visa letters, accommodation partners), captures inbound dental tourism that local practices miss entirely.

💉

Aesthetic & cosmetic medicine

Highly visual category — before/after gallery, intro video, treatment-room photos, qualified-injector credentials all move the needle dramatically. International enquiries (visa, accommodation, follow-up via telemedicine) drive a large share of revenue.

🩻

Dermatology & skin

Skin-cancer screening patients book within 24 hours of search. Same-week availability matters more than rating. The fast-booking calendar widget converts patients who would otherwise call three other clinics and book the first one available.

👁️

Ophthalmology & vision

Cataract and refractive-surgery patients comparison-shop heavily, often crossing borders. Price-transparency on EuroClinics packages (€2,500 LASIK including 12-month follow-up) wins price-sensitive international bookings.

🤰

IVF & fertility

Patients research for months before booking. Long-form clinic story, success-rate transparency, partner-laboratory accreditations, multilingual coordinator availability and the right photo of the embryology suite all matter. Average enquiry-to-booking window is 8-12 weeks.

🧠

Mental health clinics

Language fit, therapeutic approach (CBT vs psychodynamic vs EMDR) and in-person/telemedicine flexibility drive the choice. Profiles that list each clinician's modality and language proficiency fill faster, especially for expat populations in major capitals.

👶

Paediatric clinics

Parents read every review and look for "kind", "calm", "great with anxious children" specifically. The multi-criterion review scoring lets paediatric clinics showcase exactly the trait parents are searching for, and the team-bio format reassures parents about who their child will actually see.

A 90-day playbook

From "we just signed up" to "we have 200 verified bookings" — in three months.

The clinics that get the most out of EuroClinics in the first quarter follow a remarkably consistent pattern. None of them are growth hackers; they are clinic owners, practice managers or reception leads who treat their digital profile as part of the operation rather than a one-off project. Here is the version of the playbook we have seen work across physiotherapy practices, multidisciplinary clinics, dental groups and aesthetic medicine operations.

Week 1 — claim and complete. Create your clinic account in two minutes. Spend 45 minutes filling every section of the clinic editor in one sitting — identity, address, opening hours, service menu with prices, specialty taxonomy, team list, accreditations, insurance, photos, about. Upload a clinic logo, three to five high-quality interior photos and a headshot for each clinician. Set your accepting-new-patients flag and your typical wait time. This is the single highest-leverage hour your operations team will spend on the platform.

Week 2 — calendar and pricing. Publish two weeks of availability per practitioner. Use the bulk generator: pick weekdays, set start and end time, set 30-minute slots, click Generate. Add at least one telemedicine-friendly service for follow-ups and second opinions. Send the patient-facing review-request link to your last 30 satisfied patients by email — most will leave a review within a week. Twelve to fifteen verified reviews puts you ahead of nearly every other clinic listing in your city.

Weeks 3-4 — content authority. Write one short patient-facing article per service you offer. "What to expect from your first physiotherapy appointment", "How long does an IVF first consultation actually take?", "Why we ask about your sleep at a chiropractic visit". Five hundred words, plain language, no jargon. Publish on your clinic profile. Within 48 hours each article is indexed by Google with schema markup pointing to your booking widget. Articles compound: every one is a long-term traffic source that will keep generating bookings for years.

Month 2 — referral loop. Add a small "Book with us on EuroClinics" link to your email signature, your appointment-confirmation emails, your reception printouts, the recall reminders you send. Add a QR code at reception that opens your clinic profile. Patients who tell their friends "you should try this clinic" can now hand them a clickable URL instead of a name to Google. This is how single-location clinics double their inbound bookings without spending a euro on advertising.

Month 3 — answer questions, build authority. Spend 15 minutes a week in the public Q&A panel answering questions in your specialty. Every answer is permanently attributed to your clinic, ranks in search for the question wording, and links back to your profile. After fifteen or twenty thoughtful answers, your clinic becomes one of the default voices Google returns for that question — and the patients who land there see your full credentials before they decide.

By the end of month three, clinics that follow this playbook typically have 140 to 240 verified bookings on the platform, a steady stream of new patient enquiries from organic search, an article portfolio attracting search traffic, and a calendar that fills two weeks ahead per practitioner. None of it required learning a new platform, changing how you deliver care, or hiring a marketing agency. It required filling in the fields, answering the questions, and letting EuroClinics do the rest of the work.

A letter from the team

Why we built EuroClinics — and what we promise clinic owners we will never do.

Healthcare is not e-commerce. We do not believe clinics should be ranked by who pays the most, that reviews should be moderated to flatter the platform's biggest accounts, or that a 25% commission on a person's treatment fee is a defensible business model. We started EuroClinics because the existing options in Europe each broke one of those principles, and there was room for a platform that broke none of them.

So here is what we will not do. We will never charge a percentage of your treatment fee — the entire patient payment goes to your clinic's account, full stop. We will never sell paid ranking — search results are ordered by relevance, recency and rating, not by who upgraded to a premium plan. We will never moderate genuine reviews off the platform because they are unflattering to a paying customer; we remove only reviews that violate clear factual or harassment criteria. We will never sell or share patient data for advertising, analytics or any other downstream purpose; the only thing we monetise is the subscription you choose to pay.

What we will do is build a platform that European clinic owners are proud to put their name on, run it on infrastructure that respects patient privacy, charge a fair fixed price for it, and stay around long enough to be worth the investment of your team's time. We are EU-incorporated, EU-funded, EU-staffed, and we have no exit plans that involve selling to a US ad-tech holding company. If that approach resonates with you, we would love to have your clinic on the platform.

We asked the early-access cohort what changed when they moved their clinic operations to EuroClinics. Three of them put it on the record.

"Our clinic ran on a paper diary and phone bookings for 17 years. We switched to EuroClinics in February, published our calendar, and within six weeks we were taking 30+ online bookings a week. Three of our practitioners now have full books two weeks ahead. The platform paid for our entire annual subscription in less than a month of new patients."

"I run a four-clinician aesthetic medicine clinic and we used to pay an agency €600 a month to maintain our website plus another €280/month for a clunky PMS. EuroClinics replaced both — calendar, bookings, payments, reviews, photos, packages — and it actually looks more modern than the agency build. We cancelled both contracts the same week."

"What surprised us was the inbound from other European countries. Within three months we had German, Dutch and UAE patients booking IVF consultations in their own language. EuroClinics handled the SEO and the multilingual landing pages — we just answered the messages and translated the consent forms. It opened a revenue line we never had before."

From the patient side

How patients actually describe finding their clinic on EuroClinics.

The platform exists for the clinic's benefit, but the only way it works is by being genuinely useful for the patient who lands on it at midnight with a question. We pull anonymised patient-feedback every quarter to understand what they came in looking for, what surprised them, and what made them pick the clinic they eventually booked. The patterns are consistent enough to be worth sharing — partly because they explain why the platform converts, and partly because they tell you how to phrase your own clinic profile.

Patients almost universally describe arriving in a state of mild anxiety. They have a symptom (a persistent shoulder ache, a cracked tooth at 22:00, a child's recurring ear infection), they have just been on Google, and they want to find a clinic that will take them seriously without making them feel naive for asking. They are not comparing five-star ratings; they are comparing trustworthy reception photos, plausible team bios, and an obvious "I can walk into this place and be looked after" signal. The platforms that fail them are the ones that present clinics like products on a shelf — sterile, ranked, identical. The platforms that work present clinics like real places — with stories, a few sentences in the clinic's own voice, a sense of how the visit will feel.

This is why we built the long-form clinic about-page editor with rich text formatting and a "philosophy" field. Clinics that fill those fields with their actual voice — even just two paragraphs — get booked more often than clinics with longer service menus but generic copy. One patient told us they picked their physiotherapist because of "a single line in the clinic's about page that said they preferred to teach patients self-management before resorting to repeat sessions. That was the kind of clinic I wanted before I knew I wanted it." That is the kind of conversion you cannot buy with advertising; you can only earn it by writing in your real voice for ninety seconds and letting the platform amplify it.

Patients also tell us the calendar widget changes how they feel about booking. Phoning a clinic to ask about availability is, for most people, mildly intimidating — they worry about being judged for not having gone through their GP first, or for picking the wrong specialty. Clicking "Tuesday 14:30" on a screen is the opposite — frictionless, anonymous, with full price information visible. Patients who would have hesitated for three weeks book in three minutes. The conversion uplift attributable to calendar visibility is the single largest line item in the analytics we share back to clinics at the end of their first quarter.

The third pattern we hear is about reviews. Patients are not naive — they know reviews can be gamed and they discount perfect five-star walls. What they trust is a long review with specific clinical detail ("the receptionist offered to call my insurer for me; the physio explained why my MRI was actually fine") followed by a thoughtful response from the clinic ("thank you Helen — we'll see you for the 6-week review in March"). The verified-booking gate plus the public response feature combine to produce exactly that kind of review thread, and patients close the loop accordingly. Clinics that respond to reviews — even short, warm responses — convert at a measurably higher rate than the ones who treat the review section as a passive scoreboard.

Verification, transparently

What our verification team actually checks on every clinic.

The "verified" badge on a EuroClinics clinic profile is not cosmetic. It is the most important trust signal patients see, and we treat the verification process with the seriousness it deserves. Within 24 hours of claiming a clinic profile, our verification team works through a fixed checklist that takes a real human (not an algorithm) approximately 25 minutes per clinic. We share the checklist publicly because owners should know exactly what we look at, and patients should know exactly what the badge means.

We verify your business registration against the national company register (Companies House for the UK, Handelsregister for Germany, Registro Imprese for Italy, Insee for France, and so on for every country we serve). We cross-check the trading name, the registered address, the directors and the company-status flag. We verify your CQC / Ärztekammer / regional health authority registration where applicable. We verify your insurance carrier list by contacting one or two named carriers. We confirm the photos you upload are consistent with a real clinic location (we run a reverse-image check). None of this involves your patient records or any clinical data — only public-register business credentialing.

  • Company register cross-check (Companies House / Handelsregister / Registro Imprese / Insee)
  • Healthcare regulator registration confirmed (CQC / Ärztekammer / regional authority)
  • Insurance carrier list spot-verified with named carriers
  • Address geolocation + Google Street View consistency
  • Photo authenticity check (reverse image search)
  • Director / responsible-clinician check on national register
  • Annual re-verification — badge expires unless refreshed

For multi-location chains

Single-clinic operations, five-branch dental groups and pan-European chains — the team you already have, finally on one screen.

EuroClinics is the only European platform we know of that handles single-clinic operators and 50-location private hospital groups on the same architecture. The tenant model is built around the real shape of how European private healthcare actually operates — a single legal entity owns the patient relationship, multiple branches deliver care under that entity's brand, reception and billing run centrally, and each branch needs its own discoverable profile without losing the group's collective identity.

Inside a tenant, each clinic location gets its own full profile (with local address, calendar, reviews, analytics, opening hours) but the booking flow can be configured per group: route all new patient enquiries through a central reception inbox, allow direct booking with a specific branch, or set up triage-style availability where the patient describes their problem and the system suggests the nearest qualified location. Reception staff, secretaries and clinicians can be invited with granular roles — the group manager sees everything, branch managers see only their own location, junior clinicians see only their own queue. The audit log records every action with timestamp, IP and role, satisfying internal governance requirements at most hospital chains we have onboarded.

Group-level branding lets you operate under a custom subdomain (clinics.yourbrand.com), upload your logo, set your accent colour and refund policy, and have the entire booking funnel render in your house style rather than a generic platform skin. Patients book at your brand, pay your brand, and message your brand — EuroClinics provides the rails invisibly underneath. Stripe payouts can route to a single group account or be split per branch under a connected-account model; both patterns are supported out of the box and switchable as your corporate structure changes.

For pan-European chains operating in multiple countries, the platform supports per-country VAT treatment, per-country currency, per-country language defaults and per-country regulatory display (CQC for UK locations, ISO 9001 for German locations, etc.), while preserving a single management view across the whole group. Daily analytics roll up at group level — total bookings, total revenue, accept-rate across all branches, top services by volume, geographic patient origin distribution, branch-to-branch comparison tables. Webhooks can push every event into your existing PMS, ERP or BI stack, with signed payloads and replay-from-log debugging when something needs investigation.

Security, privacy, compliance

Built in Europe, for Europe — under the strictest medical-data rules in the world.

Healthcare data has the strongest legal protection of any data category, and rightly so. Every architectural decision EuroClinics makes — from where servers physically sit, to who has access to backups, to how reviews are stored — is filtered through GDPR Article 9 (special-category data) and the national medical-confidentiality laws of every country we serve.

We sign a Data Processing Agreement on request, publish a sub-processor list, run regular penetration tests with independent auditors, and publish an annual transparency report. If your clinic has a Data Protection Officer (and most regulated multi-site groups do), they will recognise everything we do — and, more importantly, everything we don't do.

Practical guide

Turning your existing materials into a clinic profile that actually books patients.

Most clinic owners arrive on EuroClinics with three existing artefacts — a website that nobody has touched since launch, a paper or PMS service-price list designed for internal billing rather than patient comparison, and a folder of stock photos from the day the clinic opened. None of those convert online patients on their own. The good news is that you do not need to write anything from scratch; you need to translate. Here is the framework the best-performing clinic profiles on the platform follow, in the order patients actually read.

The first sentence is the one a stranger sees. Spend more time on it than any other. "Multidisciplinary chiropractic and sports-injury clinic in Kennington — chiropractic adjustment, rehab, shockwave and laser therapy under one roof" is infinitely more useful than "established 2009 with a passion for patient care". The first tells the patient whether you are the right clinic for them; the second tells them you have read a few self-help books. If you can name two or three specific services in the first dozen words, patients searching for exactly those services will recognise themselves and click.

Your second paragraph is your team in narrative form. Take your practitioner roster (which lives in its own structured section) and turn the essence of it into one paragraph that explains how your team is composed and why that mix works for the patient. Not "Dr Lucia Marchetti, John Smith, Anne Patel, Tom Lee" — instead, "Our nine-strong team combines two senior chiropractors, three sports rehab specialists, a women's-health physiotherapist, two massage therapists and a paediatric specialist — so most patients can have their consultation, their treatment and their follow-up in the same building." Patients do not memorise practitioner names; they remember stories about how a clinic actually fits together.

Your third paragraph is your philosophy. This is the single highest-converting paragraph on most clinic profiles. State plainly how your clinic approaches patient decisions. Do you give every new patient 45 minutes for the first visit? Do you offer non-invasive options first by default? Do you train patients in self-management to reduce future visits rather than maximise them? Do you bulk-bill or do you settle each visit individually? Whatever your actual practice is, write it down in your own voice. Patients are picking a relationship as much as a clinical service, and they want to know whose values match theirs before they walk through your door.

Avoid superlatives, the word "passionate", and any reference to being "patient-centric". They have become meaningless precisely because every clinic website uses them. The phrases that win are the specific ones nobody else uses — the ones that come from how your reception team actually talks about the clinic to patients on the phone. Read your about page aloud. If it sounds like a marketing brochure, rewrite it in the voice you would use to explain your clinic to a friend at a dinner party. That is the voice that converts.

Pricing honesty

What we charge clinics, what we don't, and what we have promised ourselves we will never start charging.

The European medical-tech market has produced some genuinely ugly business models over the past decade — clinic directories that started free and added per-booking commissions, "premium placement" auctions that quietly downranked unpaid clinics, data-licensing deals to insurance brokers, and surprise fee increases at contract renewal that no clinic operator can reasonably plan around. We chose a different model because clinics deserve a platform whose incentives align with theirs, not against them.

EuroClinics has exactly two revenue lines: fixed monthly subscriptions (Solo Doctor €9 / Clinic €19 / Enterprise on request) and a small percentage of the Stripe processing fee on each transaction, which is set by Stripe — not by us — and is the same charge any merchant pays when accepting a card payment online. We do not take a cut of the treatment fee. We do not charge for search placement. We do not run paid ranking auctions. We do not license patient data. We do not charge per booking, per message, per review, per photo upload, per location, per profile section or per anything else that should obviously be included in the monthly subscription. And we have built into our investor documents a covenant not to introduce any of those models in the future — if we ever do, you should fire us as a vendor immediately.

This is the honest answer to "what's the catch?" — there isn't one. We charge a fair fixed price for software (€19/month for clinics, or €190/year if you prepay annually and save two months), we keep it dramatically below the inflated incumbent prices most European clinics are paying, we publish the pricing publicly, and we let you cancel at any time without penalty. If the platform is worth €19 a month to your clinic, you stay. If it isn't, you leave — your data export is one click, all historical bookings, messages and reviews remain downloadable for twelve months after cancellation.

Frequently asked

Everything clinic owners ask us before signing up.

Honest answers, no marketing fluff. If your question isn't here, write to us at clinics@euroclinics.net — a real human will reply within 4 hours during EU business hours.

How long does it take to set up our clinic profile?

Most clinics finish their profile in 30 to 60 minutes with one focused session. Account creation takes about two minutes. After that, your operations team fills in the clinic identity, address, opening hours, service menu with prices, team practitioners, accreditations, insurance carriers, photos and about page. Verification (we check your company registration and regulator status) takes another 1 to 24 hours and unlocks the "verified" badge that patients trust.

Do we need to give up our existing clinic website?

Absolutely not. Many of our clinics keep their Wix / WordPress / agency-built site alongside EuroClinics. We complement those channels rather than replace them. Your EuroClinics profile is the one with the live multi-practitioner calendar, the booking widget, the payments and the multilingual SEO — the existing website can stay as a brochure if you like, or you can redirect it to your EuroClinics profile and decommission the legacy site entirely (about 40% of our clinics do exactly that within their first six months).

What does "0% commission" actually mean for a clinic?

When a patient books a €120 treatment, the full €120 settles to your clinic's Stripe-connected bank account (minus Stripe's standard processing fee, typically 1.4% + 20p for EU cards — that money goes to Stripe, not us). EuroClinics never takes a percentage of any treatment fee. Your only payment to us is the fixed monthly subscription, regardless of how many bookings your clinic processes.

Can we import our reviews from Google / Trustpilot / Doctify?

Google reviews legally belong to Google and cannot be exported. Trustpilot and Doctify have terms of service that prohibit bulk-exporting reviews to third-party platforms. We can however help you re-engage past patients (by email) with a one-click "leave a review on EuroClinics" link — most clinics rebuild their review base within 90 days because EuroClinics review prompts are sent automatically the moment a patient marks a booking complete.

What happens if we cancel our subscription?

Your clinic profile stays live as a basic listing (no booking widget, no analytics, no team management). All historical bookings, messages and reviews remain accessible to you for 12 months. After that we retain only anonymised aggregated data for statistical reporting; everything attributable to your clinic is deleted in line with GDPR Article 17.

How are clinic reviews moderated?

Only patients with a completed booking can write a review — this is enforced automatically at the database level. Reviews are published immediately. Your clinic can reply publicly to any review. If a review is factually false, harassing, or contains protected health information, you can flag it via your dashboard; our review team responds within 24 business hours and removes it if the criteria are met.

Can we limit which patients can book us?

Yes. You can require manual approval for every booking (default for surgical specialties), accept-only after a short pre-screening questionnaire, restrict to certain insurance carriers, set lead-time minimums (e.g. no bookings less than 48 hours out), require a deposit at booking time, or all of the above. Every rule is configurable per service and per practitioner.

How does multi-practitioner scheduling work?

Each practitioner on your team has their own profile with their own calendar. The booking flow lets the patient choose the practitioner explicitly, choose "any available" (system assigns), or choose by service (system shows only practitioners qualified to deliver that service). Conflicts are prevented automatically. Reception staff with the right role can manage every diary; junior clinicians see only their own.

Can we manage multiple clinic locations from one account?

Yes. The Clinic plan covers up to 5 practitioners under one location; the Enterprise tier supports unlimited locations with per-location addresses, opening hours, photos, teams and calendars, all rolled up under a single billing relationship and a single group-level analytics view. Multi-location is what most dental groups, IVF chains and physio franchises switch to as they expand.

Is telemedicine GDPR-compliant for our clinic?

Yes. Our video consultation room runs on EU infrastructure (Frankfurt) — no recording, no transcription, no third-party sharing. Patients click a link, no software install. We can issue a sub-processor confirmation letter for your DPO on request. Telemedicine is included in both the Solo and Clinic plans at no extra cost.

How does payment work for treatment packages?

Two common patterns. (1) Deposit at booking: patient pays 20-30% as a deposit when they confirm the booking; the balance is invoiced after the appointment or charged to the same card on attendance. (2) Full package up-front: patient pays the entire treatment plan (€2,500 LASIK including 12-month follow-up) at booking; funds are held in your Stripe account and you can refund any unused portion in one click if the patient does not complete the full treatment plan.

What if our country isn't listed?

EuroClinics actively serves 30+ European countries plus the UK, Switzerland, Norway, Iceland, Türkiye and several Middle Eastern markets. If you don't see your country in the signup country list, email clinics@euroclinics.net — we are constantly expanding the verified-register integrations.

How is patient data isolated between different clinics?

Every record (patient, booking, message, review) is tagged with a tenant_id, and Postgres Row-Level Security policies prevent any tenant from querying another tenant's data — even if a developer makes a mistake, the database refuses the query. We pen-test this quarterly. No cross-tenant data leak has ever occurred and the architecture makes one extremely difficult.

Do reception staff need to be tech-savvy?

No. If your receptionist can use WhatsApp Web and Google Calendar, they can manage your EuroClinics dashboard. The interface is a sequence of clear lists (today's bookings, pending requests, unread messages) with one-click actions. The publishing platform handles all the technical infrastructure — hosting, SEO, payments, security, backups — invisibly. The only skill they need is the customer-service expertise they already have.

What about patient no-shows and late cancellations?

You set the policy per service. Common configurations: require a non-refundable deposit (£20-50 typically) at booking, charge a no-show fee 24 hours after a missed appointment, automatically block re-booking for repeat no-shows, or simply send a polite reminder and absorb the loss. The platform enforces whichever rules you set; your team does not have to chase patients individually.

How do we migrate from our existing PMS?

Most clinics run both platforms in parallel for the first quarter, point new patients to EuroClinics, and let the legacy PMS handle existing relationships until renewal time. CSV export from most major PMSes (Cliniko, Jane App, Practice Fusion, simplyhealth, MedPlat) can be imported into our re-engagement tool to send a "we've upgraded our booking system" email with a one-click profile link.

Is there a mobile app for our team?

We deliberately built a mobile-optimised web platform rather than a native app. Patients book from any device with no install required; your team manages bookings, calendar and messages from any phone via the dashboard. Push notifications are sent via email/SMS, so nothing needs to be installed. If your reception team genuinely wants a home-screen icon, our Progressive Web App installs in two taps on iOS or Android and works offline for diary view.

Common objections, addressed honestly

The reasons clinic owners hesitate — and what we actually think about each one.

"We already have a clinic website." Most clinic websites are designed to look respectable rather than to convert visitors into bookings. They are typically built once by a local agency, never updated, never SEO-optimised for the specific services that matter, and almost never integrated with a payments or booking system. EuroClinics is not designed to replace your website — it is designed to be the place patients actually find you and book you, while your website continues to do whatever else it was built for. You can link to your existing site from your EuroClinics profile and vice versa; many clinics eventually decommission the old site once they see how much more efficient the EuroClinics surface is.

"We already get all the patients we need." Even the busiest private clinics in Europe lose roughly 25-35% of their potential first-time bookings to friction in the discovery and booking process. The patient who could not get through on the phone calls the next clinic on their list. The patient who could not find your fees on your website assumes the worst and books a competitor with transparent pricing. EuroClinics recovers that 25-35% with no extra effort from your team; the work is the platform's, not yours. If you genuinely do not want more patients, the platform also lets you publish a profile with no available slots — it then functions as a credentialling page for the patients you already see, who can leave verified reviews that boost your discoverability without filling your calendar further.

"We're worried about negative reviews." This is the single most common hesitation we hear, and it is worth taking seriously. Our position is straightforward: review platforms work for clinics because the average European patient experience is genuinely positive, and the cumulative effect of dozens of honest 4- and 5-star reviews vastly outweighs the occasional unfair complaint. Our review system gives your clinic a public response feature for every review, so the rare unfair one becomes a chance to demonstrate professionalism rather than a permanent stain. In six months on the platform, the median clinic accumulates 40+ reviews; the median rating is 4.7 of 5. The fear of one bad review keeping clinics off the platform is, almost without exception, more costly than any bad review they have ever received.

"We don't want to be compared to other clinics." This is the most understandable objection of all — comparison is uncomfortable, especially in a field where credentials, equipment and approach vary so much. But your patients are already comparing your clinic to other clinics, and they are doing it on whatever sources Google ranks first — which often means random blog posts, hospital staff pages, and forum threads from 2014. EuroClinics gives your clinic the chance to be compared on the right axes (real services, real reviews, real availability) rather than the wrong ones (whoever bought the most search ads this month). The clinics that embrace comparison on accurate signals consistently outperform the clinics that hide from it.

"We'll do it later." The honest answer is that "later" is exactly when your competitor in the same city + service category is going to claim the search-result slot you wanted. It takes Google roughly 4 to 8 weeks to fully index and rank a new clinic profile for competitive queries. The clinic that lists in January is reaping the search traffic in March; the clinic that lists in March is reaping it in May, in a market where the January clinic has already accumulated 60 reviews and a year of head-start. We genuinely think the right time to do this is the day your operations team reads this page.

Every objection above has been raised by a clinic that later joined EuroClinics and went on to recommend us to peer practices. Hesitation is rational; permanent hesitation is expensive. The €19 a month — or €190 prepaid for the entire year — is genuinely modest against the value of even one new patient per week. The verification step takes a single business day. The worst-case outcome is that your operations team decides after thirty days it is not for them and cancels — you lose €19, you keep your data export, and you have lost nothing but a coffee for the practice manager. The best-case outcome is the clinic growth curve you have been wanting for five years suddenly starts to compound.

From €19/month. Two minutes to set up. The next patient might already be searching for your clinic.

Join the European clinics that have already moved their operations online — at a price the incumbents charge for a single feature, without commission, without lock-in, and without learning a new platform every six months.
