Dr Beth Anfilodff
Psychology
About
Currently, she provides outpatient therapy services at Nightingale Hospital, where she previously also worked with the inpatient population in the general psychiatric unit. There, she delivered individual sessions and ran groups focused on process, mindfulness, psychoeducation, and CBT. Dr. Anfilogoff views her role as one of providing psychological insight and practical strategies to help clients navigate life changes. She has worked with a broad range of mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, difficult life events, grief, and relationship issues, and she is committed to creating a non-judgemental environment that allows clients to explore their thoughts and feelings for better self-understanding.
Her doctoral research examines the experiences of young people from extremely affluent backgrounds and how these experiences impact their psychological and emotional well-being, an area that is often under-explored. Dr. Anfilogoff has presented her research at conferences, engaging with peers and professionals on the coexistence of privilege and pain.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
