Dr Cristy Leask

Dr. Cristy Leask is a highly qualified and experienced Counselling and Occupational Psychologist with a diverse background in both clinical and organisational settings.  Dr. Leask is a registered Counselling and Occupational Psychologist, recognised by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC). She is also a Chartered Member of the British Psychological Society (BPS). Dr. Leask has accumulated 20 years of experience in various areas, including the NHS, private practice, organisational transformation, and executive coaching. Her work in the NHS spans multiple areas, including primary care, adult mental health, and eating disorder settings. In addition to her clinical work, she has extensive experience working with organisations in sectors such as FMCG, Legal, Banking, and Aviation. Her unique blend of Occupational and Counselling Psychology enables her to provide evidence-based interventions to enhance individual and team performance in the workplace. Dr. Leask is trained in a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Systemic Therapy, Solutions Brief Therapy, and Couples and Family Therapy. This diverse skill set allows her to tailor interventions to the specific needs of her clients. She is a certified Enneagram practitioner and StrengthsFinder Coach. Dr. Leask's academic research has resulted in published papers on topics such as leadership, agility, resilience, mental fitness, and wellbeing. She serves as an adjunct Faculty member at various business schools, where she presents on leadership and change management. Her teaching and presentations extend to international settings in the UK, South Africa, and Sweden. Dr. Cristy Leask is deeply passionate about addressing mental health and wellness challenges in the workplace, especially in the context of post-pandemic recovery. Her work aims to support leaders and employees in navigating these critical issues.
