About
Mr Rahim completed his medical qualification at Gomel State Medical Institute in 2003 and later was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2018, reflecting his advanced surgical training and commitment to the highest standards of patient care.
His subspecialty training encompasses minimally invasive and microscopic techniques, deformity correction, hip and knee replacement surgery, and advanced endoscopic spinal procedures. Following prestigious international fellowships, including advanced training under Professor Peter Varga in Budapest, Mr Rahim developed specialist expertise in complex spinal tumour surgery, including En Bloc resections and sacrectomies. He further refined his skills at the Neurosurgical Unit at Severance Hospital, Yonsei University, in Seoul.
Mr Rahim is an active researcher with multiple publications in peer-reviewed medical journals, contributing to ongoing advancements in orthopaedic and spinal surgery and outside of medicine Mr Rahim is a former international rugby player and remains a passionate supporter of the Wallabies.
