Dr Awad's journey commenced with medical school and Neurosurgery training in the United Kingdom, where he honed his skills in some of London's leading neurosurgical centres. He furthered his expertise in Australia, gaining invaluable experience in diverse areas of brain and spinal surgery. Notably, he has achieved Fellowship status with both the Royal College of Surgeons and the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons, attesting to his exceptional capabilities.
His relentless pursuit of excellence led him to complete subspecialty fellowship training in spinal surgery and neuro-oncology. Applying state-of-the-art techniques, including minimally invasive surgery, artificial disc replacement, and robotic spinal surgery, Dr Awad effectively treats a range of spinal conditions such as disc prolapse, degenerative spinal disease, tumours, and spinal trauma.
