Dr Nair began his career as a lecturer at St John's Medical College, Bangalore Emergency Medicine Department, later assuming roles as a consultant physician at St Thomas Hospital, Chethipuzha, and Consultant Physician and Intensivist at Baptist Hospital, Bangalore. He held the position of Head of the Critical Care Department at Lourdes Hospital where he oversaw the Medical Intensive Care unit. From 2013 to 2023, Dr Nair practiced at Zulekha Hospital Dubai before joining Medcare Hospital Dubai & Sharjah.
