I am a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing in hip and knee surgeries. Currently, I work as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at NWAFT NHS Trust in Peterborough. My subspecialty interests include lower limb hip and knee replacements, revision knee replacement, sports knee injuries, partial knee replacement, and robotic knee replacement.
I was appointed as an Orthopaedic Consultant at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, King’s Lynn, in January 2017. I left QEH in August 2023 and joined NWAFT NHS Trust. I qualified from Dr. M.G.R. Medical University, Chennai, in 1996, and completed my Master of Surgery in Trauma & Orthopaedics from the same institution in 2001. I furthered my training with higher surgical experience at Peterborough & Stamford NHS Hospital and successfully passed my F.R.C.S. in Trauma & Orthopaedics in 2013.
Additionally, I have completed three fellowships:
Trauma B.O.A. Transitional Fellowship at Cardiff University Hospital in 2014,
Lower Limb Arthroplasty Fellowship at University Hospital, Leicester (2015–2016),
Joint Reconstruction Fellowship at the world-renowned Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore, London.
I am a high-volume surgeon in revision knee and unicompartmental knee replacements. During my time at QEH, King's Lynn, I introduced the robotic knee replacement technique, and I have since been consistently performing robotic knee replacements in my current practice.
