About Mr Michael Kimuli
Mr Michael Kimuli is an experienced Consultant Urological surgeon. He graduated from the University of Sheffield Medical School and completed his specialist training in urology surgery in the Yorkshire region. He further honed his skills by undertaking additional training in the management of complex stone disease at Henri Mondor Hospital in Paris, as well as an advanced training fellowship in laparoscopic surgery at St James’ University Hospital, Leeds. His training also included a research period during which he was awarded a PhD. In his private practice, Mr Kimuli's specialist interests mirror his NHS expertise, focusing on general urology, stone disease (endourology), benign and cancer kidney diseases and minimally invasive surgical treatments, including laparoscopy and robotic (keyhole) surgery. He is a member of the British Association of Urological Surgeons, the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh, and the European Association of Urology, ensuring he remains at the forefront of advancements in his field. Mr Kimuli was Clinical Director of Urology at Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust from 2022 to 2025, leading one of the UK’s largest urology services through strategic development, service improvement, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
