Mr Jeetesh Bhardwa is a Consultant Urological Surgeon with extensive experience in the diagnosis and management of a wide range of urological conditions. He currently practises privately at BMI The Princess Margaret Hospital, Spire Thames Valley Hospital and BMI Bishops Wood Hospital. His NHS consultant post is based at Heatherwood and Wexham Park Hospital within Frimley Health NHS Foundation Trust.
Mr Bhardwa’s clinical practice includes general urology, urinary tract stone disease and urological oncology. He has a particular focus on stone surgery, including the management of complex renal and ureteric stones. His work also includes prostate cancer diagnostics, incorporating MRI fusion biopsy techniques. Additional areas of clinical interest include urinary tract infections, prostatitis, pelvic pain syndromes and the management of benign prostatic enlargement.
He graduated in medicine from the University of Dundee in 1994 and subsequently completed comprehensive surgical and specialist urology training. He was appointed as a full-time consultant in 2013. Mr Bhardwa holds a Doctorate in Medicine from the University of London.
Alongside his clinical work, Mr Bhardwa is Associate Sub-Dean for the Medical School at the University of Southampton. He is actively involved in medical education, delivering educational courses for general practitioners, and contributes to research within his specialist areas of urology.
