During this time, Mr Lawrence also completed Gene Therapy research for his Master of Surgery Degree. He was first appointed as Thoracic Surgeon at the University College London Heart Hospital.
Mr Lawrence has expertise in a range of minimally invasive thoracic surgery techniques, including the Da Vinci Robotic Xi Surgical system, as well as expertise in VATS and more conventional surgical procedures. Outside of his clinical roles, Mr Lawrence is also an active researcher and has authored over 100 papers in his area of expertise, including Lung Cancer and Adult Cardiac Surgery.
