About Mr David Knox
Dr David Knox is a consultant orthopaedic surgeon who practises at Spire South Bank Hospital and The Spire Clinic, Droitwich Spa. He also works as an upper limb and trauma consultant at the Alexandra Hospital and Kidderminster Hospital and Treatment Centre. Dr Knox specialises in arthroscopic and shoulder replacement surgery. Dr Knox treats patients with evidence-based medicine, and he believes in involving the patient in all aspects of their treatment throughout the whole process. Dr Knox graduated in 2000 from the University of Aberdeen with his MB ChB before completing upper limb fellowship training at Robert Jones Agnes Hunt Orthopaedic Hospital. He then went on to train at the Melbourne Shoulder and Elbow Centre during a fellowship awarded by the Australian Orthopaedic Association. Dr Knox has a keen interest in research and has a number of publications to his name. His current topics of interest are shoulder arthroplasty, clavicle fixation, and orthopaedic trauma surgery.
