About Mr Colin Elton
Mr Colin Elton, Consultant General Surgeon, works within the Barnet Hospital and Edgware Community Hospital. He is highly experienced in performing keyhole and robotic resections for colorectal cancer and rectal prolapse, as well as haemorrhoidal artery ligation. Mr Elton has set up an excellent colorectal service in the Barnet Hospital and holds the position of Clinical Lead for Endoscopy for this hospital and the Chase Farm NHS Trust. He also runs an additional clinic focusing on hernia repairs in adult and paediatric patients. He is a dedicated teacher, running courses across London and organising a teaching programme that teaches the techniques needed for hernia repairs and laparoscopic cholecystectomy to surgical registrars.
