About
Mr Al Ani completed extensive colorectal training across several leading NHS centres, including Addenbrooke’s Hospital and St Mary’s Hospital, Paddington. He further advanced his expertise through specialist colorectal fellowships at The Royal Marsden Hospital and Guy’s and St Thomas’ NHS Foundation Trust, gaining significant experience in the management of complex colorectal conditions.
He is JAG accredited in colonoscopy and has a specialist interest in colorectal cancer surgery, robotic total mesorectal excision (TME), and advanced laparoscopic colorectal procedures. His practice focuses on delivering innovative, patient-centred care using the latest minimally invasive surgical techniques to support faster recovery and improved outcomes.
In addition to colorectal surgery, Mr Al Ani provides a wide range of general surgical procedures, including hernia repair, gallbladder surgery, and abdominal wall reconstruction.
