Dr Masood Ur Rasool
Respiratory Medicine
About
Dr Ur Rasool qualified in medicine in Pakistan and completed his residency in the Republic of Ireland before moving to England in 2019 to undertake specialist training in Respiratory and General Internal Medicine in the East of England. He has published widely in peer-reviewed journals and currently oversees the Pleural Service at Hinchingbrooke Hospital, working closely with respiratory teams at Peterborough City Hospital. His procedural expertise includes bronchoscopy, EBUS, and pleural interventions across both sites.
Patients value Dr Ur Rasool’s meticulous assessments, clear communication, and supportive care. Consultations begin with a thorough review of symptoms and medical history, followed by targeted diagnostics to establish an accurate diagnosis and a personalised treatment plan. Working collaboratively with the wider clinical team, he ensures care is coordinated, transparent, and empowering at every stage of the patient journey.
“Evidence-based care tailored to each patient — taking the time to explain options and shared decisions.”
