Dr Magdi Awwad is a Specialist Psychiatrist with over 26 years of experience in adult psychiatry, providing comprehensive assessment and management of a wide range of mental health conditions. He has extensive clinical experience in both inpatient and outpatient psychiatry. He worked for many years at Zayed Military Hospital in Abu Dhabi, where he managed a broad spectrum of psychiatric conditions and provided consultation-liaison services within the general hospital. His role also included mental health assessments for military personnel and national service recruits.
More recently, Dr Awwad has worked as a specialist psychiatrist across several healthcare providers in Abu Dhabi, including Mediclinic Medical Center, Irish Abu Dhabi Wellness Center, and Yas Healthcare. His clinical approach combines pharmacological treatment with supportive therapeutic engagement and regular follow-up to optimise patient outcomes.
