Dr. Kiran Nijabat is a Consultant Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and the visionary founder and director of the Family Wellness Practice. She obtained her medical degree from Guys', King's and St. Thomas' Medical School in 2008, with an Intercalated BSc in Management from Imperial Business School. She further developed her skills through training on the UCL core psychiatry training scheme and the prestigious Tavistock higher training scheme.
Driven by a passion for mental health advocacy, Dr. Nijabat uses her expertise to empower children, adolescents, their families, and professionals through educational workshops and CPD accredited courses. Over the past five years, she has been leading the Family Wellness Practice team, pioneering the development and delivery of ten CPD accredited mental health courses covering diverse topics such as mental wellness, resilience building, parenting, self-harm, and suicide prevention.
Under Dr. Nijabat's leadership, the Family Wellness Practice has provided tailored mental health training and counselling to over 5000 individuals across various sectors, including schools, colleges, nurseries, orphanages, residential homes, charities, places of worship, and hospital staff.
