About
Dr Bateman can offer psychoeducation, diagnoses, prescriptions and treatments for a range of conditions. She is passionate about helping young people and families to work through challenges and find what works best for them.
Dr Bateman completed her medical degree in 1997 at Manchester University. She then gained some experience in Manchester before relocating to Australia where she worked in A&E, paediatrics, rural medicine and psychiatry. After three years she returned to the UK and undertook further training in psychiatry and specialist training in child and adolescent psychiatry, also gaining membership of the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
Dr Bateman uses a grounded, practical and solution-based approach in her clinical practice. She is passionate about improving the lives of young people and providing high quality care.
