Dr Michael Cooklin is a Consultant Cardiologist appointed at St Thomas' Hospital London in 2001. He commenced his specialist training in Newcastle upon Tyne and in the United States, at the Universities of Virginia and Maryland. Dr Cooklin qualified in medicine from the University of Manchester in 1985, developing research and clinical interest in clinical electrophysiology (cardiac arrhythmias), following an MD in basic cellular electrophysiology.
