About Dr Mark Earley
Dr Mark Earley is a consultant cardiologist who has expertise in all areas of cardiology. He specialises in cardiac rhythm abnormalities (electrophysiology). He has almost 20 years experience as a consultant. He graduated from the University of Bristol Medical School in 1993 and completed specialty training in London before joining St Bartholomew's Hospital in 2001. He became a consultant in 2005. Dr Earley is able to treat conditions in a variety of ways, including the use of ablation, pacemakers, and defibrillators. He has a particular interest in atrial fibrillation, resynchronisation therapy, and left atrial appendage occlusion. He also has an interest in hypertension, congenital heart disease, vascular medicine, and stroke prevention. Dr Earley is actively involved in research as well as enhancing heart rhythm care in the North East London region. He is a member of the Royal College of Physicians, Heart Rhythm UK, and the NE Thames Cardiology Specialist Training Committee.
