Dr Lisa Das, Consultant Gastroenterologist, currently works within private practice. She has over 20 years of experience in this role. She has a wealth of knowledge in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopy (gastroscopy and colonoscopy) and general gastroenterology. She has a specific interest in Irritable bowel syndrome, abdominal pain/dyspepsia, gastrointestinal cancer screening, obesity, inflammatory bowel disease, gastro-oesophageal reflux, gastrointestinal bleeding, and abnormal liver function.
Dr Das graduated with her medical degree from Guy's Hospital Medical School, before going on to complete her medical residency in the USA. She then went on to do specialist training at Columbia University in Gastroenterology. She is fully accredited in both the USA (Board Certification in Gastroenterology) and the UK (General Medical Council's Specialist Register in Gastroenterology). She was the first gastroenterologist consultant in the Royal London Hospital Bart's Trust
