About Dr Andrew Millar
Dr Andrew Millar has more than 22 years of clinical experience as a consultant gastroenterologist and hepatologist. He is an Associate Professor of Medicine at St George's University School of Medicine in Grenada, West Indies, and the Lead Clinician for Cancer, the Viral Hepatitis Service, and Endoscopy Training at North Middlesex University Hospital. He is also an honorary consultant at the Royal Free Hospital in London. Dr Millar was Clinical Lead for Rapid Diagnostic Centres in the North Central Cancer Alliance and is nationally recognised for his contribution to building rapid diagnostic centres, which are now a key element of the NHS ten-year strategy. Dr Millar treats a wide spectrum of gastrointestinal and hepatic diseases, including IBS, indigestion, food intolerance, gastrointestinal cancers, acid reflux, inflammatory bowel disease, and liver disease. He specialises in advanced endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy, ERCP, and video capsule endoscopy. Dr Millar understands the importance of nutrition in his patients' health and works together with a highly skilled dietician to provide the latest information on gastrointestinal conditions. Dr Millar is also involved in research and has produced numerous articles in his field.
