About Dr Andrew Willis

Dr Andrew Willis is a Consultant Interventional Radiologist specialising in the minimally invasive treatment of venous disease. Dr Willis graduated from St Mary's Hospital Medical School with his MBBS in 1997. After completing foundation training he went on to complete core surgical training in hospitals across London, Essex and Cheltenham becoming a member of the Royal College of Surgeons. Dr Willis then began his career in Radiology in Birmingham, training as a specialty registrar and then undertaking an Interventional Radiology fellowship. After concluding his training and becoming a Fellow of the Royal College of Radiologists, Dr Willis went on to serve as a Consultant Interventional Radiologist in University Hospital Birmingham in 2007 and then Birmingham Children's Hospital in 2008. In 2011 Dr Willis began working as a Consultant at the Whiteley Clinic and has been a keen adopter of the Whiteley Protocol® for treating his patients with venous disease. He specialises in minimally invasive techniques including endovascular treatment of varicose veins. Outside of his medical practice, Dr Willis is a devoted father and a fan of football.
