David Manson-Bahr is a Consultant Urologist with specialist expertise in diagnosing and treating urological cancers, including kidney and testicular cancer. He is one of the highest-volume kidney surgeons in the UK, performing more than 120 kidney operations each year.
Alongside his cancer work, he provides comprehensive general urology care for a wide range of conditions. These include prostate cancer assessment and diagnostics, urinary symptoms in men, blood in the urine, urinary tract infections in both men and women, circumcision, and scrotal conditions such as hydroceles, epididymal cysts, and testicular lumps.
Mr Manson-Bahr qualified from Guy’s, King’s and St Thomas’ Medical School in 2008. He completed his surgical training in East Anglia before undertaking research in prostate cancer genetics at the University of East Anglia, where he was awarded a Doctor of Medicine (MD). Following specialist urology training in London, he completed an advanced fellowship in complex kidney and testicular cancer surgery at the Royal Marsden Hospital.
He was appointed Consultant Urologist at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital in 2020.
