Dr Claire Irving is a paediatric cardiologist at Sydney Adventist Hospital, who treats children with all types of congenital and acquired heart disease. Dr Irving has a significant interest in research and has several publications in peer-reviewed journals. She also holds a postgraduate MD degree which focused on antibody formation following heart transplantation. She currently serves on the council of an international transplant society and is regularly invited to lecture at conferences worldwide on the topics of heart failure and transplantation. Dr Irving is also interested in medical education and is a senior clinical lecturer at the University of Sydney.
Outside of the hospital, Dr Irving enjoys being active and exploring Sydney, spending time with her three young children, and training for marathons.
