About Dr Bapti Roy
Dr Bapti Roy is a Respiratory and Sleep Physician who provides comprehensive respiratory and sleep consultation services. Dr Roy graduated with Honours from Western Sydney University and completed respiratory and sleep medicine training at Westmead and Blacktown hospitals, followed by a clinical pleural medicine fellowship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital in Western Australia. Dr Roy is dedicated to providing comprehensive care for their patients and working alongside their general practitioner to achieve the best possible patient outcomes. Dr Roy is currently completing a Master of Medical and Health Science by Research at Edith Cowan University and has obtained a prestigious Charlies Foundation for Research grant. They are actively involved in multi-centre clinical research at Westmead Hospital and has published in peer reviewed journals. Dr Roy is committed to education for medical staff and the community and is involved in education programmes for Respiratory Trainees, General Practitioners and patients. They are a member of the advanced training education subcommittee for the ASA and previously for TSANZ and has organised numerous education events for advanced trainees. They are a member of the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand (TSANZ), Australasian Sleep Association (ASA), the American College of Chest Physicians (CHEST) and the European Respiratory Society (ERS).
