She holds a PhD in bariatric surgery from Imperial College London and has been awarded a highly regarded research fellowship of The Royal College of Surgeons. She is regularly invited to speak at national and international conferences and is a strong advocate for tackling obesity stigma and advancing women’s health.

Alongside her clinical practice, Miss Kamocka is deeply committed to surgical education. She holds a Master’s degree in Surgical Education and leads the West Middlesex Surgical Simulation Centre. Her laparoscopic training course has earned accreditation of the Royal College of Surgeons, and she mentors trainee surgeons from around the world.
