About Mr Graham Branagan

Mr Graham Branagan is a Consultant General Surgeon at New Hall Hospital. He specialises in colorectal cancers, laparoscopic (keyhole) colorectal surgery, anal fissure and haemorrhoids. After studying Physiology with Pharmacology, he completed his medical degree at the Charing Cross and Westminster Medical School, now part of the University of London. He was awarded with his MS in 2001 by the University of Portsmouth and became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England in 2005. Mr Branagan is actively involved in clinical research on rectal and anal cancers, and enhanced recovery after surgery. He has been published in book chapters and has over 24 publications on PubMed. He is a member of the Association of Coloproctology Surgery and Association of Laparoscopic Surgery.
