He is also an important part of the private practice community, consulting and operating at St John of God Murdoch Hospital. His clinical focus includes minimally invasive laparoscopic procedures, particularly for gallbladder issues, abdominal hernias, and bariatric surgery, as well as the management of bariatric-related complications.
Dr Gong serves as an adjunct senior lecturer at the University of Notre Dame and mentors medical students at the University of Western Australia. He is dedicated to providing exceptional care in the field of general surgery.
