Mathieson House is home for up to 20 residents, all with tastefully decorated, en suite bedrooms. Rooms vary in size and shape which adds to the beauty and elegance of the home, giving every resident's room its own unique character.

A number of larger rooms provide perfect living accommodation for a couple as well as an individual. Many rooms provide living and social areas for you to host friends and family when they visit, private dining experiences can also be arranged upon your request.

At Mathieson House there are a range of facilities to suit all personalities and moods, including a large and spacious lounge area with original period features, private outdoor areas for relaxing or socialising, spacious dining and social areas, quiet space and games room as well as a beauty therapy room and bright outdoor patio area.

The care at Mathieson House is second to none, with residents at the centre of everything they do. The team ensure that each resident's care plan is tailored to their needs, understanding that no two residents will have the same requirements.

The fully trained care staff team provide 24 hour personalised care and support as required. Above all, the team's aim is to support every resident's routine and wellbeing needs to ensure they thrive during their time at Mathieson House.

There is also a full range of healthcare services, such as dental or vision care can be accessed through the local GP who visits the service regularly.

The food at Mathieson House is of an excellent standard and the chef consults with residents to prepare seasonal and nutritious menus for residents, and their loved ones should they wish to join at mealtimes.

Mathieson House has a dedicated activities team, delivered within group or 1:1 settings. The home has access to a minibus so visits to local points of interest will also be organised for residents' enjoyment, which they can join in with as they wish.
