Dr Khalid completed his primary medical qualification at Ain Shams University, Egypt in 1983, followed by his Master's degree in Paediatrics at the same university in 1989. He completed his MD in Paediatrics and Neonatology at Al Azhar University, Egypt in 2003.
Dr Khalid has specialist expertise in managing both neonatal intensive care and paediatric intensive care units. At Gargash Hospital, he manages all high-risk newborn cases, including cases of low birth weight, prematurity, neonatal sepsis, persistent hypoglycaemia, congenital anomalies, respiratory distress and post-surgical care. He also carries out routine paediatric check-ups, vaccinations and paediatric growth and development assessments.
