He holds a Ph.D. in Intracoronary Imaging and Physiology and an MSc in Cardio-Renal Diseases from the University of Central Lancashire, UK, alongside dual Certificates of Completion of Training in Cardiologyand Internal Medicine. Alongside this he is a Member of the Royal College of Physicians and completed advanced interventional fellowships at Columbia University Medical Center (USA), University of Western Ontario (Canada), and Sheffield Teaching Hospitals (UK).
Dr. Parviz’s clinical expertise includes percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI), intravascular imaging (IVUS, OCT), intracoronary physiology (FFR, iFR), and minimal contrast angiography. He also performs renal and peripheral vascular interventions, rotational atherectomy, and management of complex coronary lesions.
His clinical interests focus on optimizing coronary interventions through advanced imaging and physiology technologies, and on the cardiovascular management of patients with chronic diseases, particularly diabetes and chronic kidney disease (CKD).
