Dr Walaa Amir is a highly qualified Consultant Prosthodontist and an Assistant Professor in the Faculty of Dentistry at King Abdulaziz University. She is dedicated to providing her patients with exceptional dental care, utilising modern techniques and a patient-focused approach to restore oral health and function. Her work involves both clinical practice and academic instruction, contributing to the education of the next generation of dental professionals.
Dr Amir holds a Bachelor's degree in Dental Surgery from King Abdulaziz University. She pursued her postgraduate studies in Canada, earning a Master of Science from the University of Toronto. She later obtained a combined PhD in Craniofacial Sciences and a diploma in Prosthodontics from the University of British Columbia. Dr Amir is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Dentists of Canada.
As a specialist, Dr Amir focuses on restorative dentistry and prosthodontics. Her clinical interests are centred on the integration of digital workflows and artificial intelligence into her practice to enhance treatment outcomes. She has a particular interest in dental implants and advanced restorative materials, consistently applying the latest evidence-based approaches in her field.
